Despite a previous report to the contrary, CARDBOARD VAMPYRES' June 24 concert at the Hudson Theatre in New York City is a private event and is **NOT** open to the public. According to the agency (International Strategic Marketing, Inc.) that is coordinating the affair for one of their clients, JVC, "the [adjacent Millennium Broadway] hotel and [Hudson Theatre] venue have already received over 150 phone calls" from fans inquiring about the show and they wish to make it known that this is in fact a "private JVC event."

CARDBOARD VAMPYRES, the new band featuring former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell, former THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy, one-time MÖTLEY CRÜE vocalist John Corabi, latter-era CULT bassist Chris Wyse and drummer Josh Howser, perform CULT and ALICE IN CHAINS songs amid a selection of hard rock covers by LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, STOOGES, BLACK SABBATH and AEROSMITH.

Upcoming CARDBOARD VAMPYRES tour dates:

Jun. 24 - New York, NY @ Hudson Theatre (**private event**)
Jul. 10 - Justin, TX @ Texas Lil's Dude Ranch
Jul. 16 - West Hollywood, CA @ Roxy Theatre
Aug. 14 - Oklahoma City, OK @ Zoo Amphitheatre (w/ ZZ TOP)
Sep. 11 - Austin, TX @ Carlos'N Charlie's Bar & Grill (KLBJ event)
