CANNIBAL CORPSE Announces U.S. Tour With CATTLE DECAPITATION

Florida-based death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE have unveiled their plans for a massive U.S. tour this fall. They are bringing a brutal package of bands with them across the United States beginning October 8 and running through November 7. Direct support is slated to come from Metal Blade labelmates CATTLE DECAPITATION, preceded by Sweden's SOREPTION, plus a local opener on each show. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 14. VIP upgrades will be announced soon.

CANNIBAL CORPSE bassist Alex Webster comments: "We're very excited to be hitting the road this fall with CATTLE DECAPITATION and SOREPTION, two killer bands that we know our fans will love. Get ready for a night of complete brutality!"

CANNIBAL CORPSE's latest album, "A Skeletal Domain", sold 8,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Torture", opened with 9,600 units to land at No. 38. This figure was in line with the first-week performance of 2009's "Evisceration Plague", which entered the chart at No. 66. CANNIBAL CORPSE's 2006 CD, "Kill", debuted at No. 170 after shifting more than 6,000 copies.

CATTLE DECAPITATION's new album, "The Anthropocene Extinction", was released on August 7 via Metal Blade. The CD was once again helmed by Dave Otero (ALLEGAEON, CEPHALIC CARNAGE),who worked on 2012's "Monolith Of Inhumanity".
