CANDLEMASS To Perform With Original Singer At Germany's KEEP IT TRUE XIII Festival

Swedish doom metal legends CANDLEMASS will headline next year's Keep It True XIII festival, set to take place April 23-24, 2010 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. According to the organizers, the band will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the event by performing a very special two-hour show consisting of the entire "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" debut album with original singer Johan Langquist on vocals and a regular set featuring current frontman Robert Lowe.

Johan Langquist last performed with CANDLEMASS at the band's 20th-anniversary concert on March 31, 2007 at Stockholm, Sweden's Kolingsborg. The show was professionally filmed and was released in October 2007 as the "20 Year Anniversary Party" DVD via Snapper/Peaceville. CANDLEMASS performed with no less than seven (!) different vocalists — including the band's former singers Johan Langquist and Tomas Vikström, plus the group's latest addition, Robert Lowe of SOLITUDE AETURNUS. In addition to the concert footage, the DVD includes interviews with all the vocalists from that evening as extra material.
