CANDLEMASS

Commented CANDLEMASS: "It's an awesome bill with bands such as SLAYER and MASTODON, and yours truly will be there too. As the last band in, CANDLEMASS is opening the party at 13.30. Don't miss it because you are late and lazy and has to sit at the local pub the entire afternoon. C-MASS will kick off the Metaltown metalfest with a BANG!!! Expect some new songs as well as a bunch of classics. Be there or be doomed!!"

CANDLEMASS — featuring new singer Robert Lowe of SOLITUDE AETURNUS — will release its new album, "King of the Grey Islands", on June 22 through Nuclear Blast Records. The limited digipack version will include two bonus tracks — the Robert Lowe versions of the CANDLEMASS classics "Solitude" and "At the Gallow's End".

CANDLEMASS celebrated its 20th anniversary at a special concert held at Stockholm's Kolingsborg on March 31. The band performed with no less than seven (!) different vocalists at the show — including the band's former singers Johan Langquist and Tomas Vikström, plus Lowe.
