Dutch melodic death metallers CALLENISH CIRCLE have been officially removed from the lineup of acts performing at this year's No Mercy/Easter Festivals 2003, according to the band's record label, Metal Blade Records. "They got dropped off the tour [by booking agent/promoter] Metallysee because there's too many bands on the bill and the distances between the venues are too far," reads Metal Blade's statement on the matter. "Well, next time someone should think of that before a band gets its confirmation. But that's something neither CALLENISH CIRCLE nor Metal Blade are responsible for…"

No Mercy/Easter Festivals 2003 will take place in April and will feature performances from TESTAMENT, MARDUK, DEATH ANGEL, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, PRO-PAIN, MALEVOLENT CREATION and DARKANE.
