September 20, 2005

Sweden's BURST have announced a U.K. headlining tour in support of the release of their new album, "Origo", out on October 17 via Relapse Records. The national tour will kick off on October 24 in Manchester at the Star & Garter. Support on the BURST headlining tour will be provided by South Wales' TAINT. This is BURST's first U.K. headlining tour following tours supporting labelmates MASTODON and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.

"Origo" was recorded at Gothenburg's Music-a-matic studios with producer/engineer Fredrik Reinedahl (IN FLAMES, PASSENGER) and Henrik Lipp (KENT, MILLENCOLIN). "Origo"'s "lush layers of sound crush and caress in equal measure as fragile, melodic vocals intertwine with explosive screams, while waves of guitar weave complex, commanding music," according to a press release.

03. The Immateria
04. Slave Emotion
05. Flight's End
