BURN IN SILENCE Abandons Plans For 'Farewell' Show

June 17, 2008

The now-defunct Boston, Massachusetts-based metalcore band BURN IN SILENCE has issued the following update:

"Many apologies, but we have to cancel the farewell show. It saddens us just as much as you. Unfortunately there were too many complications in putting together the show. We have decided that we were not meant to have a last show, after many failed attempts.

"Thanks to everyone's support throughout the years. Please keep in touch. Looking forward to seeing all of you at shows. And hopefully we can continue to see you in our new bands. Please support Max and Al in DESPISED ICON, Chris in ACARO, and Jason and Wes in YOUR PAIN IS ENDEARING.

"Thanks everyone, and once again, sorry we could't have one more night of destruction.

BURN IN SILENCE's most recent album, "Angel Maker", came out in 2006 via Prosthetic. The CD was recorded with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH) in late 2005 and early 2006, with Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) handling mixing duties. The record is the follow-up to BURN IN SILENCE's self-released "Pure as Your First Day" EP.
