BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, WALLS OF JERICHO To Join Forces For TRUSTKILL TAKEOVER Tour

April 7, 2006

Trustkill Records, indie rock powerhouse label, have announced their first-ever package tour, to be called the Trustkill Takeover our. The North American trek, which will take place in May, will feature the U.K.'s hottest export BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE on headlining duty. The Wales-based band are currently wrapping up a successful U.S. run on the ROB ZOMBIE/LACUNA COIL tour. BULLET fever, which is in full swing through Europe, sees the band securing the honored spot of opening for GUNS N' ROSES and METALLICA on select European shows. Speaking on the upcoming Trustkill Takeover run, frontman Matt Tuck says, "I'm completely stoked on our first real headlining tour of the States. It's a real chance to show everyone what BULLET is made of." Appearing in the middle slot is the Detroit's WALLS OF JERICHO, who have just been confirmed for the second stage at this year's Ozzfest. Fronted by Candace Kucsulain and powered by the thrash-bred guitar team of Mike Hasty and Chris Rawson, WALLS OF JERICHO recently hunkered down in Cleveland with producer Ben Schigel (CHIMAIRA, ZAO, RINGWORM) to record their upcoming album, "With Devils Amongst Us All", to be released this summer. Candace Kucsulain confirmed that they will be perfoming four or five new songs from the upcoming album per night and Mike Hasty says of the new material, "It's definitely the most varied music we've ever written and it's a lot more anthemic whereas our older material was more about aggression than composition."

Rochester, NY's ROSES ARE RED, who are opening the tour are currently out with MATCHBOOK ROMANCE and SILVERSTEIN on this year's edition of the Take Action Tour. The group recently finished recording their second full-length, "What Became Of Me" with Brian McTiernan (THRICE, CAVE IN, CIRCA SURVIVE),to be released this June.

Regarding the new songs vocalist Vincent Minervino says, "I think people who like our band now will be very pleased with the direction we’ve taken. And I also think people who didn’t care about our music before will take notice of the new album. We have grown up as people and songwriters."

Commenting the upcoming tour, Trustkill label President Josh Grabelle says, "We're super-stoked to finally package our bands together, something we've been trying for a while now. The timing just clicked with this lineup. With ROSES ARE RED to rock people's socks off and WALLS OF JERICHO to get kids' hearts racing, it just leaves the stage to be shredded when our Welsh boys BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE hit the stage. Expect great things from all three of these bands in 2006!"
