BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, SAXON, HAMMERFALL Confirmed For UK's HAMMERFEST

Following the hugely successful sold out Hard Rock Hell in 2007 and forthcoming sold-out Hard Rock Hell II (December 2008),Hard Rock Hell has teamed up with Metal Hammer to announce the inaugural Hammerfest — an event that is set to become one of the leading metal festivals of next year and years to come.

Hammerfest will kick start the festival season of next year and will take place April 24-25, 2009 at Pontins, Prestatyn Sands, North Wales.

The first raft of bands set to play Hammerfest can now be announced:

With 35 more metal and rock bands to be announced, Hammerfest will be an event not to be missed. The festival will include a bumper lineup of established metal and rock acts — with celebrated veterans rubbing shoulders with the metal scenesters of today — alongside the future of metal's upcoming talent, as championed by Metal Hammer.

Tickets include two nights' accommodation and entrance to all six arenas as well as free car parking. Limited Early Bird tickets start from 80 GBP.
