BUCKCHERRY's Self-Titled Album Goes Gold In Canada

March 2, 2007

BUCKCHERRY's self-titled debut album, which was originally released in 1999, has been certified gold in Canada for sales in excess of 50,000 copies.

BUCKCHERRY's video for their new single, "Everything", has been posted online at YouTube.com.

BUCKCHERRY and entertainment web site ArtistDirect.com announced on February 15 an open call to fans to create their own video for "Everything", directing them to upload homemade videos to YouTube by March 9. The band will then choose their favorite submission and the winner and a friend will receive roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, tickets and VIP access to the BUCKCHERRY show in London on March 20 at the Mean Fiddler. Additionally the winning video will run/air for a month on BUCKCHERRY's official web site and MySpace page.

The popular alt-rock band scored a major hit in 2006 with its provocative single "Crazy Bitch" which is also one of the most popular ring tones in the country.

Fans will create their "Everything" music video, upload it to the YouTube group and fill out the entry form through the ArtistDirect BUCKCHERRYcontest page.

BUCKCHERRY was nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Hard Rock Performance" for the smash-hit "Crazy Bitch" and can be seen performing "Everything" on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" tonight (Friday, March 2).
