BUCKCHERRY: 'Rockline' Appearance Available For Streaming

California rockers BUCKCHERRY were interviewed on this past Monday night's (August 2) edition of the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn. You can now listen to the program at RocklineRadio.com.

BUCKCHERRY's new album, "All Night Long", was released yesterday (Tuesday, August 3). The record follows up 2008's "Black Butterfly", which did not sell much compared to the band's 2006's million-selling comeback effort, "15". Guitarist Keith Nelson told The Pulse of Radio that even with the decline of CD sales, he is not giving up on making albums. "I believe in the album as an artform," he said. "I don't think that putting two songs that are gonna be played on the radio and then a bunch of filler stuff — that's not why we do this. But I have lost faith in the number of records sold as an indicator of success, because our audience is growing, our business is growing. Nothing has receded, except the actual number of physical records that are sold. So I don't think that's a true indication of our success."

BUCKCHERRY recently teamed with the Natural Resources Defense Council to send all the proceeds from sales of their new song "Our World" to the NRDC's Gulf Recovery Fund.

A new version of the song, which was taken from "All Night Long", was made available for purchase as an iTunes exclusive. All the proceeds are going directly to Gulf Coast non-profit groups working to help people, wildlife and fragile ecosystems recover from the BP disaster.

BUCKCHERRY next plays Rock On The Range Canada in Winnipeg on August 7 and the Sturgis Bike Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota on August 9. The band will join NICKELBACK on the road this fall.

BUCKCHERRY will perform on the Thursday, August 12 episode of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (which will actually air the morning of Friday, August 13).
