BUCKCHERRY Get Down And Dirty On 'Adult' Version Of Video

June 19, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: BUCKCHERRY has made two versions of the video for its current single, "Crazy Bitch". There's a clean version for music video outlets and an explicit version, featuring plenty of female nudity and uncensored lyrics, that you can view at the band's website. Guitarist Keith Nelson told Launch how the group convinced a large of number of women to get down and dirty for the shoot. "We did an open casting on our MySpace page for any, you know, attractive females that wanted to come down and join us for free and an open bar for an afternoon, and basically, we got a really good response," he said. "We were lucky enough that the Key Club in Los Angeles had let us use their downstairs lounge, which we turned into a strip club. We literally opened the bar and rolled the cameras. What you see is what you get, it was a lot of fun."

The band's website also features "behind-the-scenes" footage from the video shoot.

"Crazy Bitch" comes off BUCKCHERRY's third album, titled "Fifteen", which debuted at a career best No. 48 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

BUCKCHERRY is touring the U.S. now and plays tomorrow night (Tuesday, June 20) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The band recently signed a major label deal with Atlantic Records to market "Fifteen", which was initially released independently through Eleven Seven Music.
