BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION's NIKKI SIXX Discusses Band Moniker

In a recent interview posted on MÖTLEY CRÜE's official web site, bassist Nikki Sixx has revealed the "real" reason for all the name changes his current group, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, went through before settling on their present moniker.

"COCKSTAR got shot down cause certain folks in the music industry didn't have a sense of adventure, MOTORDOG was taken and well... BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION is about the coolest name since LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH, so we kept it," Sixx said.

With regards to the vibe within the group — which is completed by L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns, ADEMA drummer Kris Kohls, former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi (who plays guitar in the group),and vocalist London LeGrandNikki said: "I feel so fortunate to be in this situation..to see people truly having to work double time (me too) to show there passion for the band. No spoiled rock star shit here..."
