BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Begin Writing New Material

January 16, 2004

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, the new band featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx, L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns, vocalist London LeGrand, and drummer Scot Coogan (ex-PAUL GILBERT, ONI LOGAN/ROWAN ROBERTSON, SINÉAD O'CONNOR),are not letting the fact that their debut album has yet to receive a U.S. release keep them from pressing ahead with their plans for world domination. "We are in the process of writing a whole new batch of tunes for our next record," Guns said in an online posting. "This time we are really keeping an open mind and exploring all different styles of music and just letting what ever comes out flow."

As previously reported, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION's first CD, "Here Come The Brides" (out in Japan through Universal Records since December 25),is due on March 9 through Sanctuary Records via Sixx's company 12-11 Productions. The group's song "Shut the Fuck Up" (e-card) is the lead-off track on the Drew Stone-produced/directed (BIOHAZARD, TYPE O NEGATIVE, KING'S X, AGNOSTIC FRONT) film "Death Or Glory", a documentary about the illegal car culture world of America which is being released by Dreamworks on Feb. 1. Other groups featured on the film's soundtrack include BLEED THE DREAM, GARTH VADER and THE ROAD KINGS. Talks are also underway for Stone to direct the music video for "Shut The Fuck Up".
