BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Are Having 'Too Much Fun For One Band'

June 9, 2004

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx (ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE) has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Last few days have been a blur. Too much fun for one band. Hung with all the guys from DROWNING POOL, HATEBREED, DAMAGEPLAN, KORN, SOIL, LIFE OF AGONY, ILL NINO, SLAYER, SILVERTIDE, SLIPKNOT, H.I.M.…etc… Wow, we all had the best fucking time (loved watching these guys do there thing)… When BRIDES took the stage, I looked over and everybody was there… We played the smaller tent. We opened with 'Shut The Fuck Up' and to hear 12,000 kids all do the chorus together was insane…. I mean, have you ever heard 12,000 people shout 'Shut the fuck up' together?? I haven't….

"[Monday] night was the Metal Hammer Awards. I got the Spirit Of Metal Hammer award…. Nice feeling. I'll have to take a picture and post it in the wedding album. Of course, all us bands hung out again last night. Dimebag, me and Ville from H.I.M. did a photo shoot yesterday afternoon and Dime was smashed when we started…. Of course at the end of the (Hammer Awards) we had to carry him out… Dime's fucking hardcore… Love that fucker…. Rock 'n' roll.

"Tracii and Dime smashed the fuck outta a Gibson Explorer while the Gibson rep stood by in horror…. Maybe Gibson should treat their bands a little better… Every day has been hours of press every day… Tomorrow we do more fucking press and then the headline London show…

"Then off to Italy…"
