BONAFIDE Signs With BLACK LODGE RECORDS

January 15, 2009

Swedish rockers BONAFIDE have inked a deal with Black Lodge Records. The band will enter Music A Matic Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden mid-February to begin recording its sophomore album with producer Chips Kiesbye (THE HELLACOPTERS, MILLENCOLIN, SAHARA HOTNIGHTS).

Black Lodge will release an expanded edition of BONAFIDE's debut album for the worldwide market in 2009. The new version of the CD will include two bonus tracks, "Hard Case To Break" and "Nighttime", recorded live at last year's Sweden Rock Festival, as well as a cover of the NAZARETH song "Miss Misery".

BONAFIDE's debut LP was released in September 2007, and since then the band has been on the road all over Scandinavia, playing festivals and undertaking a successful club tour of its own. The group has also supported such international acts as DEEP PURPLE, THE QUIREBOYS and Y&T.

BONAFIDE is:

Pontus Snibb: Vocals, Guitar
Mikael Fässberg: Guitar
Micke Nilsson: Bass
Sticky Bomb: Drums
