BLOODSTREAM PARADE Putting Finishing Touches On Debut Album

Chicago-based metallers BLOODSTREAM PARADE will return to the studio next month to put the finishing touches on their debut album, "The Apocalypse in Retrospect", for a summer 2009 release via Dark Star Records. The band is once again working with Chris Djuricic from Belle Sound Studios in Racine, Wisconsin. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Blood For Blood", "Source Fire", "No God", and "For Future Eyes Only".

BLOODSTREAM's first show of 2009 will take place on February 21st at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago. Also appearing on the bill are DIRGE, THE DOOMSDAY CATALYST and TRIALS.

According to a press release, the group has a long history of involvement in the Chicago metal scene, with members coming from a number of well-known acts such as DOWN LO, CONCUSSION, WITHDRAWAL, DEACON and INSPITEOFYOU. With this powerful lineup, BLOODSTREAM PARADE has secured opening slots for national acts such as SWORN ENEMY, A LIFE ONCE LOST, FULL BLOWN CHAOS, OTEP, ANTHRAX and others.
