BLOODSIMPLE To Tour With OTEP, AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE

BLOODSIMPLE, the New York-based band featuring former members of VISION OF DISORDER, DOWNSET and MEDICATION, will be teaming up with OTEP, AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE and CANDIRIA for the "Alliance of Defiance" tour beginning in late February. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

Feb. 19 - Philadelphia, PA @ Trocadero
Feb. 20 - Sayreville, NJ @ Starland Ballroom
Feb. 22 - Hartford, CT @ Webster Theater
Feb. 23 - Portland, ME @ The Station
Feb. 24 - Manchester, NH @ The Bomb Shelter
Feb. 25 - New York City, NY @ The Knitting Factory
Feb. 26 - Albany, NY @ Northern Lights
Feb. 27 - Springfield, VA @ Jaxx
Feb. 28 – Farmingdale, NY @ The Downtown

As previously reported, BLOODSIMPLE will release their debut album, "A Cruel World", on March 29 through MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). A three-song sampler will be released on January 29.

Three tracks from "A Cruel World" have been made available for preview at MySpace.com. Check out the songs "Straight Hate", "Falling Backwards" and "Blood In Blood Out" at this location.

The disc was recorded over the last several months in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).

The first video from "A Cruel World" was shot last month in New York City.
