BLOODSIMPLE To Begin Mixing New Album Next Week

January 3, 2007

BLOODSIMPLE vocalist Tim Williams (ex-VISION OF DISORDER) has issued the following update:

"Well, friends, it's been quite a year looking back on '06. It's been a long haul for BLOODSIMPLE since we quit the road back in July. Although since we have been home, we've been very, very busy. Our new [second] record is pretty much done. We will begin mixing here in [New York City] on January 8th. We are very excited for this release; it's an amazing record. A huge step up the mountain for us and we all are very proud of it. We have also been putting the finishing touches on our long-awaited DVD. It has all sorts of great road shit and live footage from across the globe. I'd say it's a must have for all BLOODSIMPLE fans and even kids who love to just watch a band in its true element of hell!!!! Our very own Nick Rowe has been hard at work on this DVD for all you rabid fucken BLOODSIMPLE fans. It's gonna be a classic disaster, kinda like 'Spinal Tap' but not as cool and nowhere near as clever."

BLOODSIMPLE recently posted its cover of THE DOORS' "5 to 1" at its MySpace page.

As previously reported, BLOODSIMPLE has tapped LIFE OF AGONY bassist/SPOILER NYC mainman Alan Robert to create the custom cover illustration for its upcoming DVD, to be released later in the year. Alan previously designed album covers, web sites and merchandise for such other bands as PUDDLE OF MUDD, 3 DOORS DOWN, BIOHAZARD and SHINEDOWN.

BLOODSIMPLE's debut album, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). The CD was recorded in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).
