BLOODSIMPLE Launches Drummer Search

August 19, 2006

BLOODSIMPLE bassist Kyle Sanders has issued the following update:

"As many may know and others may not, we parted ways with our buddy Chris Hamilton [drums] a few months back. It sucked, but it happened. He's a slammin' drummer and a good dude but things happen for a reason and it happened. We didn't come out and publicly announce it for the main reason that we didn't want to get emails about 'who's the new drummer' and 'when are we holding auditions,' because we honestly didn't know and weren't ready for that. We're really wrapped up with writing the new record right now and have had several good players helping us out on that end. We're just trying to keep it as stress free as possible and the way we're doin' it works. When touring time comes, we obviously need a badass behind the kit so feel free to email or send any press kits to:

"That's the deal on that end. Other than that, we hit [producer] Machine's studio on Monday to start [pre-production] on the next record, so let's get ready to do it again!"

BLOODSIMPLE features in its ranks former members of VISION OF DISORDER and MEDICATION. The group's debut album, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). The CD was recorded in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).
