BLOODSIMPLE Guitarist Says VISION OF DISORDER Live DVD/CD Is Due In The Winter

August 24, 2006

BLOODSIMPLE guitarist Mike Kennedy (ex-VISION OF DISORDER) has issued the following update:

"Checking in from the Machine Shop [studio owned by producer Machine] in good old Hoboken, New Jersey. Pre-production [for the second BLOODSIMPLE album] is coming along nicely. The songs are developing nicely. Hopefully we will be tracking for the album within a few weeks. We have also been viewing some of the backstage and live footage from Europe in which we will be editing for the upcoming DVD.... funny shit (the backstage stuff; not the live stuff). That hopefully should should be out late fall/early winter. Also, the VOD footage from the [recent reunion] shows looks fuckin crazy. The video director (Bill Yukich) got knocked out cold in the pit from an elbow to the back of his head...and yes the camera was rolling so hopefully that will end up in there. Thanks to all the fans for making that a memorable weekend (even though my fender strat went 'missing'). Look for that DVD/live album hopefully mid-to-late winter."

BLOODSIMPLE features in its ranks former members of VISION OF DISORDER and MEDICATION. The group's debut album, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). The CD was recorded in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).
