BLOODSHOTEYE: New Pre-Production Recording Posted Online

May 4, 2007

Leamington, Ontario-based female-fronted "deathcore" band BLOODSHOTEYE has posted a new pre-production demo on its MySpace page. "Killing Time" was recorded at Spectre Sounds Studios in Windsor, Ontario and can be heard at this location.

Commented guitarist Shane Ivy: "We're writing our third album now with our new second guitarist Jamie Lempky. The new material is faster, heavier and darker. We're going for a more-'death'-than-'core' sound as on our previous record.'

BLOODSHOTEYE will team up with DYING FETUS and Galy Records lablemates COVENANCE for a full Canadian tour in June.

BLOODSHOTEYE recently released a live video on its MySpace page for the track "Lock & Load" off the group's latest release, "An Unrelenting Assault". Shot and edited by Justin McConnell of Unstable Ground Productions, the video features live performances captured throughout last year in Ontario and Quebec.

"Lock & Load" is featured on the compilation CD from Crime Clothes, "Metal Murder League Vol 1", due this month via Crash Music. Other bands scheduled to appear include 40 BELOW SUMMER, BLACK MARKET HERO and 3 MILE SCREAM.
