BLOODBOUND Announces New Singer

BLOODBOUND, the new Swedish metal band featuring Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars),has announced the addition of German vocalist Michael Bormann (JADED HEART, BONFIRE, J.R. BLACKMORE, RAIN) to the group's ranks. "Sounding heavier than ever, his powerful voice adds another dimension to BLOODBOUND," the band writes on its web site.

The group adds: "After a lot of emails and phone calls Michael finally arrived in Bollnäs, Sweden on the 27th of January to meet the band and to record the vocals for bloodbounds forthcoming album 'Book of the Dead'. We hit it off straight away and had a great time with Michael, both doing some serious recording and some heavy partying...

"We are very pleased with Michael's performace on the album and the new heavier sound his voice brings to the band. Sounding like a mix between Jorn Lande/Joe Lynn Turner/Coverdale yet with a personal touch he will surely turn some heads with his outstanding performance on this album."

BLOODBOUND last fall parted ways with with singer Kristian Andrén (MEMENTO MORI, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, TAD MOROSE) after only a few weeks of working together. The band also named Tomas' younger brother Henrik Olsson the group's new rhythm guitar player.

BLOODBOUND's debut album, "Nosferatu", was released in Europe in February 2006 via Metal Heaven. The CD was recorded and produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh.
