BLOODBATH Land Endorsement Deal With ES GUITARS

February 12, 2005

According to a posting on BLOODBATH's official web site, Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström and BLOODBATH have entered an exclusive endorsement deal with ES Guitars from Connecticut, USA. Nyström's choice of axe is a model called SS-88AN and was based on their line of "anti-corporate" handcrafted designs to serve as a tool of use and abuse on stage and in the studio. It's been 100 percent customized to Blakkheim's own preferences and exists only in a 1/1 edition. Check out photos of the axe at this location.

BLOODBATH, the Swedish death metal supergroup featuring Nyström (KATATONIA, DIABOLICAL MASQUERADE, BEWITCHED),Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN),Jonas Renkse (KATATONIA, OCTOBER TIDE) and Dan Swanö (NIGHTINGALE, DAN SWANÖ, UNICORN, EDGE OF SANITY, INFESTDEAD, ODYSSEY, PAN-THY-MONIUM),will make their live debut at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany in early August.

BLOODBATH's new album, "Nightmares Made Flesh", will receive a U.S. release on March 8 via Century Media Records. Due to the long gap between the European and North American release dates, the American version will be enhanced with two bonus songs taken from a previously unreleased demo recording of "Breeding Death" EP, as well as a different front cover, featuring artwork by Wes Benscoter.
