BLINDSIDE Announce U.S. Headlining Tour

Sweden's BLINDSIDE have just announced their upcoming U.S. headlining tour dates. The band will hit the road June 22 in support of their new album, "The Great Depression" (produced by Lasse "Lars" Marten),out in August.

BLINDSIDE's first two albums, their self-titled debut and "A Thought Crushed My Mind", were re-issued May 10 and have been digitally remastered. Both contain four additional bonus tracks and special new artwork designed by lead singer Christian Lindskog.

"Blindside" (1997),features original demos of "Superman", "Liberty", "Forgiven" and "Stolen", previously only available as a limited edition released only in Stockholm in 1996. "A Thought Crushed My Mind", originally released in 2000, includes two songs only available on 7" vinyl, "Knocking On Another Door" and "All You Need Is", as well as the never-before-released tracks "Desert Flower" and "Sunrise".

"Ten Years Running Blind", the band's premier DVD, will be available June 21. It features over two-and-a-half hours of footage and chronicles the band's 10-year run. Also included is a 40-minute documentary with exclusive band interviews, five live performance videos, six music videos and extensive behind-the-scenes footage.

BLINDSIDE formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1994 and have done extensive headline tours of both Europe and the U.S. with such acts as LINKIN PARK, HOOBASTANK and P.O.D. They have sold over 250,000 units in the U.S., with their latest release, 2004's "About A Burning Fire", debuted in the Top 40 on The Billboard 200 chart.
