BLIND GUARDIAN, SYMPHONY X Announce North American Tour

BLIND GUARDIAN have announced the initial routing for their first-ever North American tour, which is set to feature SYMPHONY X in the support slot. So far the following shows have been scheduled:

Nov. 15 - Atlanta, GA @ ProgPower Festival
Nov. 16 - Montreal, CAN @ Le Medley
Nov. 17 - Toronto, CAN @ TBA
Nov. 19 - Worcester, MA @ TBA
Nov. 22 - Springfield, VA @ Jaxx

Nov. 24 - Old Bridge, NJ @ Birch Hill
Nov. 26 - Ft. Lauderdale, FL @ TBA
Nov. 29 – Houston, TX @ TBA
Nov. 30 – Dallas, TX @ TBA
Dec. 07 - Chicago, IL @ TBA
Dec. 14 - Los Angeles, CA @ TBA

In related news, SYMPHONY X have announced the track listing for their upcoming album, The Odyssey, which is due on October 28th through Inside Out Music. It is as follows:

The Odyssey was recorded at SYMPHONY X guitarist Michael Romeo's Haslet, New Jersey home studio and includes an 18-minute opus based on Homer's epic sequel to "The Iliad". Says Romeo: "The new CD is much more focused and quite a bit heavier than a lot of our past work."
