BLAKJAK Inks DEAL WITH CHAVIS RECORDS

May 24, 2007

New Jersey's "most dangerous band" BLAKJAK has inked a deal with Chavis Records for the release of "Pleasure in Pain". BLAKJAK is currently in Aarius Studios in Sayersville, NJ recording its debut with guitar virtuoso/producer Jack Frost (SEVEN WITCHES, BRONX CASKET COMPANY, SMELL THE GLOVE, FROST, SAVATAGE) engineering and producing. "Pleasure in Pain" will be mixed and mastered by Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING).

According to a press release, BLAKJAK is "one of the hottest acts on the East Coast" which has opened for "every major band rolling through their turf. BLAKJAK rock their roll with a classic style of hard rock branding it with their own style and adding just enough heavy courtesy of Mr. Frost."

BLAKJAK will embark on "The Poor Tour" this summer. The trek will take the group up and down the East Coast, into Canada and out west.

"Pleasure in Pain" will be released late summer/early fall.
