BLACK VEIL BRIDES Frontman Tests Positive For COVID-19; Band To Miss Shows On 'Trinity Of Terror' Tour

April 3, 2022

BLACK VEIL BRIDES will be forced to miss several shows on the band's current "Trinity Of Terror" tour with ICE NINE KILLS, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE and LILITH CZAR after BLACK VEIL BRIDES singer Andy Biersack and "several members" of the group's "touring crew" tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Earlier today (Sunday, April 3),Biersack issued the following statement: "Oshkosh [Wisconsin], it is with great sadness that I share that BVB will not be able to perform tonight. Last night after the show in Chicago I started to feel an awful sickness come on out of the blue and developed a high fever and chills. Unfortunately after multiple tests it is clear that both me and several other members of the BVB touring crew currently have tested positive for Covid.

"For obvious reasons and out of an abundance of caution we will be taking time away from the tour until we cleared to play again. MIW, INK and LILITH CZAR will still be performing each night but should you want a refund for your ticket they will be available at your point of purchase.

"We are truly sorry for this awful situation and promise to make it up to any of you looking forward to seeing us as part of the TOT tour as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to get back out onstage to sing with you all soon".

BLACK VEIL BRIDES' latest album, "The Phantom Tomorrow", was released in October via Sumerian Records. The third concept LP from BLACK VEIL BRIDES and the band's most-ambitious release to date is comprised of a dozen tracks, including the band's first-ever U.S. Top 10 Active Rock single "Scarlet Cross".

The cover artwork for "The Phantom Tomorrow" was created by Eliran Kantor, known for his work with TESTAMENT, HATEBREED, HAVOK and Andy Black, to name a few. "The Phantom Tomorrow" was produced by Erik Ron (GODSMACK, DANCE GAVIN DANCE, BUSH) and co-produced by guitarist Jake Pitts.
