BLACK SABBATH Bassist Checks In From Europe

July 5, 2005

BLACK SABBATH bassist Geezer Butler has posted the following message in the "Journal" section of his official web site:

"Well, the SABBATH European Tour is well underway — thanks to everyone who came to see us in the U.K., Germany, Austria, Greece, Czech Republic, Holland, Bulgaria; it has truly been a privilege to play our music for you. What a great bunch of people! Looking forward to Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Rehearsals went extremely well down in Monmouth, Wales. I had a chance to visit a few castles and old churches while I was there. I'll include a few pictures i took while i was there.

"'Ohmwork' is selling slowly but steadily — thanks from all in GZR to everyone who bought it. I'll be putting up a few songs from the first GEEZER BUTLER BAND album that was never officially released for anyone who wants to download them — apparently, two of the tracks have found their way onto a Japanese bootleg album, but are very poor quality, as they have been copied from cassette tapes. Also, people have been asking where they can buy the GZR wristbands I wear on stage, so we'll be selling them through this website, and any money from sales will be passed on to help homeless animals. Details will follow.

"That's all for now. I'll be updating this journal more when I'm back in the USA, and I hope to have more time to spend doing it, especially on those long bus journeys!

"Until then, take care everyone. Peace."
