Black Metallers FOSCOR Launch New Video

May 5, 2008

"I Torn de les Cendres", the new video from black metallers FOSCOR, can be viewed below. Taken from the group's latest album "The Smile of the Sad Ones", the clip was directed and edited by guitarist and founding member Falke, and was shot at the Balneari de la Puda, an old abandoned spa hotel in Catalonia. The same location was used for the artwork for the album, because, according to the band, "It's a very atmospheric, haunting location, full of rot and decay, but you still get a sense of how fantastic it must have been in its glory days! It was perfect for what we were trying to achieve visually. We have put a lot of effort into tying the overall sound and content of the album to the images on the artwork and we hope the video will be an extension of this."

One of the few black metal bands that write and sing some of their songs in their native Catalan language, FOSCOR is scheduled to support SHINING on three dates during the controversial Swedish band's Spanish tour in May.
