BLACK MESSIAH: CD-Release Show Announced

September 22, 2006

German black/Viking metal band BLACK MESSIAH has scheduled a CD-release party for its new album, "Of Myths and Legends", on November 11 at the Turock Club in Essen, Germany. Special guests will be KROMLEK from southern Germany and MINJAR from Gelsenkirchen. BLACK MESSIAH will be supported on some songs by MORON'S DEW.

As previously reported, BLACK MESSIAH recently parted ways with drummer Surthur due to "health problems." The group is currently seeking a replacement.

BLACK MESSIAH recently inked a deal with AFM Records. The band's third album, "Of Myths and Legends", was recorded at SSE Studio in Essen, Germany and is scheduled for release on November 17. Check out the cover artwork at this location. Audio samples are available on the band's official web site.

BLACK MESSIAH performs its lyrics partly in its native German language, "standing for the preservation and reactivation of pagan religion and culture," according to a press release. The band's second album, "Oath of a Warrior", was released in 2005 via Soulfood.
