BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Bassist, Ex-RIOT Singer To Perform With VINNIE MOORE

July 5, 2011

UFO guitarist and acclaimed solo artist Vinnie Moore will be joined by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bassist John "J.D." DeServio and former RIOT/MASTERPLAN singer Mike DiMeo during his solo performance on LES PAUL TRIO, featuring Lou Pallo on guitar, Nicki Parrott on bass and John Colianni on piano.

Legendary recording artist, studio pioneer, and virtuoso guitarist Les Paul passed away at the age of 94 on August 13, 2009.

The Iridium honors its great friend Les Paul by presenting world-class guitarists that embodied his spirit every Monday night to join the LES PAUL TRIO.

Donations can be made to the Les Paul Foundation, 236 West 30th Street, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.

As a performer, Moore's resume is impressive. A former member of Alice Cooper's band, he toured the U.S. on the "Operation Rock 'N' Roll" tour, and also performed on Alice's album "Hey Stoopid". Vinnie's own band has toured extensively as a headliner and also was chosen as opening act for legendary rockers RUSH on the Northeast leg of their "Roll The Bones" tour. Vinnie also toured Japan as a member of the T.M. Stevens' band, which included Bernie Worrell (PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC) on keyboards, Wil Calhoun (LIVING COLOUR) on drums, and Al Pitrelli (MEGADETH) on guitar.

Vinnie has done hundreds of guitar clinics all over the world, including such places as, Japan, Scandanavia, Italy, Poland, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, England, Germany and Australia.
