BLACK HAG Working On Debut Album

BLACK HAG, the "power-doom metal" band featuring drummer Joe Hasselvander (PENTAGRAM, RAVEN, HOUNDS OF HASSELVANDER),vocalist Bob Mitchell (ex-ATTACKER, THE BOB MITCHELL BAND),guitarist Pete Vorias and bassist Eric "Orion" Cabana (HOUNDS OF HASSELVANDER),has commenced work on its self-titled debut album. Vorias is currently recording the basic rhythym guitar tracks, with Hassalvander in the producer's chair. Hasselvander and Cabana will rework their respective tracks in May and vocalist Bob Mitchell will record the first five songs in July and the remaining four songs in late August. The sessions will take place at Tone Zone Recording Studio in Scarborough, Maine. The entire production should wrap up in October for an early 2010 release.
