BLACK CROWES Offering Fans A Flyaway Contest

May 12, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: THE BLACK CROWES are offering one lucky fan the chance to meet the group, and they'll even fly you in for the opportunity. The CROWES are holding a contest for ticket-buyers, with the Grand Prize being two front-row tickets and a meet-and-greet at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on August 12, along with airfare, hotel, transportation, a BLACK CROWES-loaded video iPod, and a copy of the band's new DVD called "Freak And Roll Into The Fog". Five first-place winners will get an iPod Nano pre-loaded with BLACK CROWES music, while five runners-up will get autographed tour posters. The contest is open to people who buy tickets through the band's pre-sale — for more information, go to BlackCrowes.com.

THE BLACK CROWES are in the midst of a Canadian show that had them playing Thursday night (May 11) in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Fifteen years ago yesterday (May 11, 1991),"She Talks To Angels" by THE BLACK CROWES peaked at Number 30 on the pop chart.
