Benefit Concert For EXHORDER/FLOODGATE Frontman Planned

September 5, 2005

A group of friends are organizing a benefit concert to aid several victims of Hurricane Katrina, including such respected members of the New Orleans metal community as Kyle Thomas (EXHORDER, FLOODGATE) and Ross Karpelman (THE MYSTICK KREWE OF CLEARLIGHT). "The venue will be Caves Lounge in Arlington," reads a mailing from the benefit organizers. "We are also working on a website that should be up by the end of the day www.ReliefNOLA.com. Anybody that cannot attend the benefit but would still like to donate can do so on www.paypal.com and donate using this e-mail address ([email protected]). All proceeds are going to the following friends who lost everything in this horrible disaster: René Williams, Ross, Melissa & Jessie Karpelman, Steve & Wendy Joseph, Kyle & Stacey Thomas and Earl & Christy Roche. Thanks for you support and please help us spread the word.

"This is not a licensed charity. It is a group of friends trying to offer immediate relief for our friends and loved ones who were affected by this devastating hurricane. Every penny that we collect will go directly to hurricane victims."
