BENEDICTUM To Utilize Stand-In Drummer For GIRLSCHOOL Tour

San Diego, California-based, female-fronted metallers BENEDICTUM have issued the following update.

"We would like to announce that Blackie Sanchez will be playing drums on our tour with GIRLSCHOOL in October. Paul Courtois will not be able to make the tour due to personal obligations. We are really excited to be working with Blackie again; he is a part of our BENEDICTUM family and are really looking forward to an awesome tour! Hope to see you there!"

Oct. 30 - Halle 101 - Speyer, Germany
Oct. 31 - Outback - Bad Arolsen, Germany
Nov. 01 - Conne Island - Leipzig, Germany

A video trailer for BENEDICTUM's sophomore album, "Seasons of Tragedy", can be viewed below. Released in Europe on January 25 via Locomotive Records (March 4 in the U.S.),the follow-up to 2006's "Uncreation" contains 10 original songs plus a cover version of the ACCEPT classic "Balls to the Wall". The digipack edition also includes a cover of RAINBOW's "Catch the Rainbow". Guest musicians on the CD include George Lynch (ex-DOKKEN),Manni Schmidt (ex-RAGE, GRAVE DIGGER),Jeff Pilson (ex-DOKKEN, FOREIGNER) and Craig Goldy (DIO).
