BEHEMOTH: Live Performance Video Of New Track Available

April 25, 2007

Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH have posted a new live video clip for the new track "Christgrinding Avenue", taken from a recent performance at Club 13 in Tilburg, Holland. The track comes from their highly anticipated new album, "The Apostasy", which is set for a July release. Click here to check it out.

BEHEMOTH has just returned from Israel and Nergal (vocals, guitars) checks in with the following report: "This was our second time playing in Israel and once again the show, crowd feedback and the aura around the whole event blew me away! I have no words to describe how much we loved it. I'm happy to see that we have such a strong following in this part of the globe. We also tested out one of our brand new because of its strong connection with Jerusalem and I was curious how the crowd would respond, but they seemed to enjoy it a lot. Awesome! I tell you they love Satan in the holy land.

"The day after the show we took a trip to Nazareth, Cesariae (the Roman city built by Herod, also the place where Jesus was sentenced by Pontius Pilate!) and the ancient city of Megiddo (also known as Haar-Megiddo or biblical Armageddon, the place where the 'final' battle between heaven's troops and forces of Satan will take place. Guess you already know what I'm going to write about on the next album. It was one hell of a trip. An amazing show combined with unforgettable history lesson in one of the most exciting places on earth. Not bad if you ask me."

BEHEMOTH makes its much-anticipated return to North America on April 26 to perform five special shows. This trek includes an appearance at the renowned New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and two rare headlining shows in addition to performances alongside such acclaimed acts as CANNIBAL CORPSE and DIMMU BORGIR, among others. The band will then return to the U.S. this summer on Ozzfest 2007 having landed the direct support, non-rotating slot right before second stage headliners HATEBREED.
