Bassist JOHN BECHTEL Leaves SYSTEMATIC

Bassist John Mark Bechtel has left San Francisco Bay Area metallers SYSTEMATIC. No reason was given for his departure.

Bechtel, who played on SYSTEMATIC's sophomore album, 2003's "Pleasure To Burn", will reportedly be performing with CORETEZ when they open for HATEBREED on January 28-29 at Downtown in Farmingdale, New York. It is not presently clear if Bechtel will become a permanent member of CORETEZ, who feature in their ranks former ILL NINO members Roger Vasquez (vocals) and Marc Rizzo (guitar, also in SOULFLY).

As previously reported, SYSTEMATIC recently parted ways with Elektra Records after releasing two albums through the label. The group's next gig is scheduled to take place on January 25 at The Fat Cat in Modesto, California.
