BALLISTIC Begin Work On Debut Album

BALLISTIC, the new band featuring former DEUCE / TENSION / WARDOG mainman Tom Gattis, along with JAG PANZER members Rikard Stjernquist (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar), are in the process of recording their self-titled debut album at a Phoenix studio with longtime co-producer John Herrera. "We have finished the rhythm tracks with John Hererra and they sound great!!" reads a message on the band's official web site. "Heavy, meaty, and fast — lots of riffing and speed. there are no ballads on this nice piece of hatred. Chris Broderick has started working his notorious shredding lead parts and I'll be in laying down some hellish squauking real soon! War is inevidable [sic]! Into the sever chamber with us all!!" The band formerly known as AFTERBURN are tentatively set to release the album in July through New York-based AR Records in the U.S. Metal Blade Records in Europe.
