March 21, 2004

BALD DAISY, the "dark/ambient narcotic metal band" led by former NEUROTICA guitarist Shawn Bowen, have scheduled a record-release party for their debut CD, "Ethereality", on Saturday, March 27 at Ground Xero Records in Sarasota, Florida. Also scheduled to appear at the show are eco-terrorist grindcore band STRAY BULLET, experimental metal duo ASTHMA ATTACK and BYAM KLAVOR. Copies of "Ethereality" can be obtained online at this location and at live shows. The CD features artwork by Bowen and was recorded using a "brainwave synchronizer" which is "an effect that spatially cycles stereo sounds in a manner that, when listened to in stereo headphones, can alter the listener's state of awareness," according to an official press release. Download audio clips from the album: "Fortune" (mp3),"Waking Up" (mp3),and "Godparty" (mp3).
