BABYLON BOMBS To Release 'Babylon's Burning' In The Fall

August 10, 2009

Swedish hard rockers BABYLON BOMBS will release their third album, "Babylon's Burning", in the fall. The CD was recorded at the legendary Polar Studios in Stockholm with producer Chris Laney (CANDLEMASS, EUROPE, CRASHDIET, EASY ACTION).

"It was an obvious choice to work with Chris," says frontman Dani. "We wanted to do it big, with Chris's string arrangement ideas and to record everything intense during two weeks and a lot of pre-production."

The first single from the forthcoming CD, "Goodbye Good Luck", was released on iTunes in late 2008 as a teaser. Although the sound was "much harder than before, the band still managed to [retain] the great melodies they are known for.," according to a press release. "Now, in 2009, the band comes full circle with new bassist Ricky on board and an album that will blow you away!"

BABYLON BOMBS recently filmed a video for the album's second single, "Liberation". Photos from the video shoot can be found on the band's MySpace blog.

BABYLON BOMBS has previously released two critically acclaimed albums — 2005's "Cracked Wide Open and Bruised" and 2006's "Doin' You Nasty".
