AXEL RUDI PELL To Record RAINBOW Cover For 'Ballads' CD

The AXEL RUDI PELL band will enter the studio in August to record three new songs for the upcoming album, "The Ballads Vol. 3", which will be released on October 25 through SPV Records. Among the new tracks will be a cover version of RAINBOW's "Temple Of The King" which was recently aired live on the first leg of the RUDI PELL's 2004 tour.

AXEL RUDI PELL's last studio album, "Kings And Queens", entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 40 upon its release in March. The CD also debuted at position No. 75 on the Swedish Album chart. The follow-up to 2002's "Shadow Zone", "Kings And Queens" was produced by Axel and co-produced, mixed and engineered by Charlie Bauerfeind (HELLOWEEN, MOTÖRHEAD, SAXON, BLIND GUARDIAN, RAGE).
