AVENGER OF BLOOD Signs With SALEM ROSE MUSIC PUBLISHING

September 26, 2008

Salem Rose Music Publishing has announced its cooperation with AVENGER OF BLOOD. The Las Vegas-based band is recognized as one of the leaders of the new thrash metal revolution, and released a killer album, "Death Brigade", earlier this year on Heavy Artillery Records. Since then, the group has overhauled its lineup with the addition of bass player/vocalist Chris Rodriguez and guitarist Mike Videtto and are poised to take things to another level.

The next step will begin this weekend when AVENGER OF BLOOD enters the studio with Marco Barbieri producing and Lance Swain engineering to record "Hell Patrol". The brand new song will be released early next year as part of Relapse Records' Speed 'n' Spikes 7" series. In the meantime, the band is seeking a new label home.

Drummer Shannon Frye had this to say about the new relationship, "We all in AVENGER OF BLOOD are happy to be working with Marco Barbieri and to have him as the producer on this new song we are recording. It is a great honor!"

Salem Rose Music began last year as a management company handling the affairs of WARBRINGER. This year the company has added additional facets by administering the music publishing of inspiring new bands like HEXEN, DEVASTATOR and REVENANCE, producing the new 13 MILES CD, as well as handling independent publicity and promoting local shows. The company began as a creative outlet for industry vet Marco Barbieri, Century Media's President for 12 years and former Metal Blade employee as well as the editor of Ill Literature magazine. Last year Marco resigned from Century Media and returned to Las Vegas to pursue another career path, but his love of metal continues and he is inspired to assist young bands in their ambitions in his spare time.
