AVENGED SEVENFOLD Schedules 'Rockline' Appearance

AVENGED SEVENFOLD will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, October 16. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). AVENGED SEVENFOLD will embark on a three-week North American tour next month, finishing up in Devore, California on September 23 at a radio festival featuring GUNS N' ROSES, ALICE IN CHAINS, PAPA ROACH, and MUSE.

The band expects to do one more round of U.S. shows later this year, before hitting the studio in 2007 for a new album.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD has been nominated for a Video Music Award for "Best New Artist" at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards, and both the band's web site, AvengedSevenfold.com, and their MySpace page are encouraging fans to log on to MTV.com and vote for them.

The 2006 MTV Video Music Awards will be held August 31 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
