AVENGED SEVENFOLD On BBC's 'Punk Show With Mike Davies': Audio Available

October 17, 2006

AVENGED SEVENFOLD was interviewed by BBC Radio 1's "Punk Show with Mike Davies" for this week's program, which aired this morning (Tuesday, Oct. 17). Listen to the show online at this location.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD recently canceled fall tours of the U.S. and U.K. in order to work on the follow-up to 2005's "City of Evil".

The band's frontman M. Shadows told MTV that the band was exhausted anyway after 16 months on the road, adding, "We (were) like, 'Enough's enough.' We were kind of going through the motions for a while, playing the same songs, so we were like, 'We need to write some new stuff.'"

The vocalist also hinted that AVENGED SEVENFOLD might work with different producers to record different parts of the next album.
