AVENGED SEVENFOLD Offers Fans A Chance To Be 'Producer For A Day'

June 25, 2007

Launch Radio Networks reports: AVENGED SEVENFOLD is offering a chance for a fan to become a "producer for a day" on the band's new album, according to Absolute Punk. Interested parties must upload a short video, less than two minutes long, to either YouTube, DailyMotion or another sponsoring web site explaining why they would be the best pick to get into the studio and produce the group for one day. Entries must also be sent to [email protected]. The winner will be chosen on July 2 and technical know-how in the recording studio is not required.

The grand prize winner will receive airfare to Los Angeles and hotel accommodations. He or she will spend a day with the band in the studio and receive a special fan producer credit on AVENGED SEVENFOLD's new album, which is due out later this year.

More info and contest rules can be found at AvengedSevenfold.com.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD will release its first-ever DVD, "All Excess", on July 17. The disc will feature five live clips, four music videos, a documentary, three "making of the video" features and a pull-out poster.

The band has confirmed several overseas live shows this summer, including a gig in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 7, a show in Singapore on August 9, and Japanese shows in Osaka and Tokyo on August 11 and August 12.
