AVA INFERI Films 'Majesty' Video

AVA INFERI, the Portugal-based band whose lineup includes Norwegian guitarist Rune Eriksen (a.k.a. ex-MAYHEM guitarist/songwriter Blasphemer),recently filmed a video for the song "Majesty" in Bucharest, Romania with director Costin Chioreanu of Twilight13 Media. According to Rune, the clip is "an occult journey through nature, secret arts and magic."

The video will make its online debut in the the coming weeks.

A few screenshots of what was captured on film deep in the dark Romanian forests during these few last weeks can be seen below.

"Majesty" comes off AVA INFERI's fourth album, "Onyx", which will be released on February 14 (February 15 in the U.S.) via Season Of Mist.

AVA INFERI recently announced the addition of female bassist Joana Messias to the group's ranks.

The band will hold a CD-release party for "Onyx" on Saturday, February 19 at Side B Bar in Benavente, Portugal. The group will perform a lengthy set consisting mostly of material from the new CD.

"We have always dwelled in the more obscure side of things, and even though we have weaved an occasional Wiccan flame or Bacchanalian praise into our arts, we've always cherished and explored the aspects of 'horror.' With 'Onyx' we have definitely gone deeper into it.
