ATARGATIS To Release Debut Album In March

Massacre Records has set a March 24, 2006 release date for the debut album from German gothic/dark metal band ATARGATIS, entitled "Wasteland".

"Wasteland" was recorded at Hellion studios (DARKSEED, EQUILIBRIUM) in Munich, Germany and will include a new version of the group's "hit" song "Angels Crying", which topped the German dark metal chart at www.mp3.de for 10 months straight with more than 12,000 downloads. The album, which was mixed and mastered at Alex Krull's (ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES) Mastersound studios, will feature additional guest appearances by Stefan Hertrich (DARKSEED) on vocals, Moritz Neuner (LEAVES' EYES, ATROCITY, DARKWELL) on percussion and treble flute, and Susanne Zisky, formerly of the Junge Sinfonie Berlin, on the violin.
