ATAKHAMA: Russian Tour Announced

ATAKHAMA, the Finnish band formed out of the ashes of FUNERIS NOCTURNUM, have announced the details of their "Black Blood Tour" of Russia, set to take place late April/early May. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Apr. 29 - Club ART-Salon - Kazan', RUS
Apr. 30 - TBA - Cheboksary, RUS
May 01 - TBA - Tula, RUS
May 02 - Club Aquarium - Bryansk, RUS
May 05 - Club Babylon-Disco - Izhevsk, RUS
May 06 - Club Metka - Moscow, RUS

Commented the band in a statement: "We are really looking forward to this tour, to see Russia and to meet all the crazy metal fans over there! Huge thank you goes out to Lucky from Savage Metal Club for all of her hard work to make this tour happen. See you crazy people soon!"

ATAKHAMA consists of four former members of FUNERIS NOCTURNUMSimo Rahikainen (guitar),Matti Honkonen (bass),Timo Häkkinen (drums),J-V Hintikka (guitar) — aong with singer Jimmy Salmi. The band, whose music is described as "a brutal, aggressive, dynamic and fast straight-forward blasting dose of extreme metal," signed with Finland's Woodcut Records and recorded their debut album, "Existence Indifferent", in September/October 2004 with producer Sami Kokko. The CD was released in Finland in February 2005, in the rest of Europe in April 2005 and in North America in December 2005.
