ASSAILANT Hard At Work On Debut Album

ASSAILANT, the Umeå, Sweden-based band featuring guitarist Oscar Norberg ("little brother" of Emil of PERSUADER/SAVAGE CIRCUS fame and Nils Norberg of NOCTURNAL RITES),have entered the studio in their hometown to begin recording their debut album, entitled "Nemesis Within". Guitar, bass and synthesizers were recorded at the band's own studio, while the rest of the instruments are currently being tracked at Musikantens studio in Umeå. The vocals wil be laid down at Hammer Music (formerly Karo studios) near Hamburg, Germany starting December 4. The CD will be released on March 27, 2006 via Dockyard 1, the new German company/record label formed by Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR).
